(Seychelles News Agency) - An online maritime news portal OCEANUSLive has reported on its Twitter account today that an empty yacht was found in the oceanic zone of the Seychelles and will be towed to the main island of Mahe.

The discovery of the vessel was confirmed to SNA by the Seychelles People's Defence Forces (SPDF).

"Ti Lans, a local fishing vessel located the boat drifting on April 29. It is flying the South African flag . There was nobody onboard. The Seychellois fishing vessel is still fishing at the moment and will tow the boat back to the Port of Victoria, it returns on the 6th of May. The unmanned boat is a yacht, a pleasure vessel," Major Jean Attala, spokesperson for the SPDF, told SNA.
